Environment

It rained much woes

When it had rained for long

Flooding the rivers

Submerging the fields and

The water lillies there.

Plastic floated

In pieces of different colors

Did it rain plastic?

It rained more

The house was cold

It’s children cold

They slept.

Crows didn’t perch on the electric line

Their wings were wet

They were pecking on a plastic bag

That had brought food.

Frogs felt too cold to croak

They went inside the plastic bottles

in the pond

They choked

The hills were cold

The grass too felt cold

The cows had slowly chewed the plastic lying amidst the grass.

Why did it rain too much

The rain had arrived for a reason

To wash and cleanse

The earth’s wounds

Wreaked by insensitive humans.

Soon the sun will shine bright

To dry, to heal

After it had rained much

On the sore bruises of earth.

But scars will remain.

May be an image of tornado, nature and lightning
