Life of grass

Omnipresent green

Sprawling meadows

Grass robust, on the hillsides

Topped with morning dew

Nascent sun’s jewels

Trapped in each.

To a green shoot

Or the wide smile of a daisy

With a secret to share

Visits the damsel fly.

Tinkling of bells follow

The grass is no more!

Cows lie on the ground

Evening waves goodbye

To a day of hard work.

The grass has lived a life

To drive a world, its life

As milk  and cheese and everything sweet.
