Morning glories yearn to dance
Gentle breeze never letting to lift
Their tender feet off the ground
parched; longing for droplets of rain.
Muddy road next, bears messy marks
Of feet that had danced, ornamented
with anklets billed a price much less
than the water precious, scarce
inside the colourful bucket flowers
unable to bloom and sway in the breeze.
Leaves stop their rustle, twist to listen
while the chatter scatters to all that matters.
The bright warm sun of a hot summer
Vengefully pursues a rivulet silvery, thin
Statistics of a ballet dancer resembling
Lost in her show spectacular, forgetting
The golden beads few, that she throws
Disappears with the rapidness of her steps
Oriented to the arms, black rocks, weathered.
Mind awake in a body tired, exhausted
Eyes struggle to keep watching
The blades of grass dried brown
Swaying in harmony, chanting together
A dance in rhythm with the song of the wind.
Wait the twins thirst and perspiration // thirst and perspiration are twins
for the earthen pot to shower on them exhilaration
Earth breaks into a dance unfamiliar, to mourn
the demise of nature as the climates change //nature dies due to climate change tragedy
Wind and water dance, sometimes together
Turning mankind’s fate bitter not better
Drums roll, the earth’s scream in pain//scream made by earth
Rocks fall, trees dance in frenzy.
Light and shade dance on the remains
Of a forest that had worn a makeup
Orange, yellow and red on the branches
Flames dancing from branch to branch
Hands moving fast with mudras of anguish
Eyes glowing golden with bhavas of despair
Man danced with his greed over nature
Trampling everything green, live.
